Life On The Road

We are just over half done with our trip already! I don't know where time is going, but it's going fast! This tour we are stopping by a lot of places that we haven't been for awhile which has been really special. We are enjoying catching up with old friends and making new ones!

Since we are wanting to be fruitful with our time on the road, Elizabeth scheduled a lot of concerts in a short amount of time.  This has made our days full, but it has been good. We so appreciate your prayers and are grateful for the ways that we've seen God work on this trip already. Not only in giving us safe travels and good health, but also using the services to work in people's hearts. It has been a joy to watch and be a part of!

We have had a few free mornings that we've been able to do some "touristy" stops which has been fun! I have a bunch of pictures of those to share with y'all on another day. So far our stops have been in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Canada.

We usually arrive at a venue about 2 hours before the concert starts so that we can set up, run through some songs, eat supper, get ready and pray before the service.

In the mornings we will have family devotions, work on school, computer work, grocery shopping, do laundry, do something physically active, drive to our next location or spend time with friends in the area.

Some of us had never tried the famous deep dish pizza before, so as we travelled through the Chicago area we stopped for a special treat! It was sooo good!!

As I type this we are driving down the road headed from Canada to Ohio!

"This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it!"
Psalms 118:24

Can't wait to hear you in Berlin, Ohio! I've been a huge fan ever since you played here several years ago.
Safe travels!

YES! Chicago's deep dish pizza is wonderful!! Where did you stop in Chicago? I lived in Addison with dear believers in the Lord for some time and they introduced me to the pizza! Did you try Garrett's Popcorn, also famous in Chicago? "O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man (or woman) that trusteth in Thee." (Psalm 34:8)
Thanks for sharing this post. Great photos!

That’s great! Enjoyed seeing a glimpse into your traveling life. Is Hannah still singing with you all too? I hope we can hear you in Ohio!

@Anonymous -- Thanks for your comment! We stopped just outside of Chicago, but I'm not sure what the name of the place was. We haven't tried Garrett's Popcorn, but it sounds amazing!! We will have to try it next time!

@Amy B. Yes!! But since I take pretty much all of the photos I don't end up in them very often. :)
