Hannah

Happy Birthday Hannah!

This last year for Hannah has been full! From photography to script-writing, teaching Sunday school to perfecting her homemade pizza, from singing to decorating, her days are filled with a variety of activities. Her favorite way to spend time, is making memories with family! Whether it's late night conversations, working on projects or outdoor fun it's made for some of the best moments.

And of course, she thoroughly enjoys her role as an aunt!

So grateful for God's continuing work in her life!!

"Holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ
that I have not run in vain or labored in vain."

Life

There is just something special about summer. I guess I say the same thing about Christmas and a host of other moments, but it really is true! There are always challenges in life, there are always times when we are stretched beyond what we feel we can handle at times. But those times are beautiful too! Because we get to experience God's faithfulness and grace in a deeper way!! As we walk with God, His blessings become more and more evident in our everyday lives.
In the fun moments, and in the hard ones.

We've had so much rain this year that work has been on-again off-again. When it dries out we've been putting in huge days, and then we will have a break while it rains.

A lot of our jobs recently have been out in western Nebraska or Colorado. It is a different experience as we live out of hotels instead of home or the bus, but it's a fun one!

In previous years we've gotten a bunch of chickens for the months when we are home. This year we were undecided until we saw the baby chicks at the store and somehow they ended up at our house. They all look normal except for this fancy one!

The little ones are growing up wayyy too fast!
We absolutely love having the married siblings over for a big lunch every Sunday afternoon.

And every once in awhile we take a break and enjoy floating down the river.

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat, winter and summer,
and day and night shall not cease."
Genesis 8:22

Matthias

Happy Birthday Matthias!

The biggest change for Matthias and Michelle this last year has been the addition of little Adalynn!
They live here in Nebraska where Matthias is part manager for the business and Michelle enjoys being a homemaker. They've done a beautiful job updating their house this last year and enjoy taking trips up to visit Michelle's family in Minnesota when they can. They still love music and often play together at home! I think Adalynn will be quite the singer someday as she already enjoys listening to music. Matthias has all the equipment to record cds and has done several for us and other families as well. It has been fun to see how they're used their skills to bless those around them.

Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day."

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!

A man who leads with humility. Who makes decisions based on what is right, not what is popular. A man who prays, sacrifices and never stops learning. A man who taught us the truth of the scriptures, the blessing of hard work, the joy of living by faith and the gift of family relationships.
Thank you Dad, for everything! We love you!!

And He delights in his way."

Visiting Family

Life tends to kind of full for us and our schedule random, so pretty much the only reason we travel somewhere outside of ministry and work, is to visit family! And it's just about our favorite thing ever!! So when Dan & Bethany headed home it was the perfect opportunity for Elizabeth and Charissa to go with them to visit for a week.

One of the days they went on a hiking adventure that ended with a totaled suburban, thanks to a deer that decided to changed directions and run right into them. We are so grateful that everyone was safe, but are praying that they can find a new vehicle soon!

They enjoyed lots of fun moments with the littles!

From this time forth and forevermore."

Picture Overload

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Since I know that a thousand words could not capture all of the wonderful times we had together over Memorial Day weekend, I am going to have to post a thousand pictures. (not quite a thousand, but definitely a lot!) I hope y'all don't mind!!

There were literally so many pictures from our weekend together that I'm having a really hard time figuring out which ones to share. Hope these moments help you get a glimpse into what it's like when we all get together.
