Summer Evenings

Our family really enjoys playing sports together. It builds character, skill, relationships, coordination, and is just plain fun! Thankfully, we usually have enough people for two teams of whatever game we decide to play.

The game for this particular summer evening... Whiffle Ball!

It had been a really long time since we played, so there were lots of laughs and good natured ribbing throughout the game.

Oh course there has to be one big mashup during the game!

Summer is a perfect time to create some fun family memories... What activities do you enjoy doing together as a family?

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!"
Psalms 133:1

We live in Seattle. In the winter we ski/snowboard, and spring, summer, fall we sail an do white water rafting (just returned for a white water trip in Southern Oregon). We have a 52 ft. sail boat and we take it out every Tuesday night for Duck Dodge, an activity on Lake Union all the sail boats come out for. All my children are adults, and I have grandchildren now, but the two still here in Seattle, we still love to plan a couple of ski trips every winter, and sail together every Tuesday night. My son is leaving for graduate school in September, in England, so were doing all we can this summer.
