This pretty girl is the sixth child in our family and knows how to put her all into life!

Growing up between 3 brothers gave her a love for adventure early on and her own sweet personality makes living with her fun and easy!

The last several years she has done a lot of the food organizing and cooking for our family.

Being able to visit the married siblings is a highlight for all of us!! This spring she and Alaythia spent two weeks in West Virginia with Dan and Bethany and by the stories that came back with them I think they had a blast!

Elizabeth is very involved with planning out and working in our garden every year. She does a lot of the canning in the fall when the produce comes in which usually is a full time job in itself!

In the spring and fall she works in our Dad's business installing irrigation systems.

Sometimes the work is several hours away which makes it easier and a lot quicker to fly to work rather than drive.

This summer we tried to put in a smaller garden so that we could get some other (much needed) projects done around our house. Elizabeth has been key in getting a lot of those projects started. You can always tell when Elizabeth has been in a room because it's always a little bit cleaner then before.

She plays cello and guitar with our family when we are on the road and spends a good amount of time practicing. She has recently had the opportunity to teach guitar lessons as well when we are home.

She is an amazing secretary and does all the correspondence e-mails on our website as well as scheduling all of our concerts on the road.

 We are continually blessed by Elizabeth's diligence, cheerful smile, listening ear, and zest for life!

"Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!"

On the road again!

The harvest fields are bending
With precious ripened grain;

More reapers now are needed,

Ere Christ comes back again.

The call must now be heeded,
We cannot say Him nay;

Since He has died to save them,

We must go forth today.

How can YOU serve and share Christ with someone today?

 “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few;
therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest."
Luke 10:2

It's on to the fifth born... Andrew! And his lovely wife, Kori.

This wonderful couple currently live in Seward, Nebraska which is about 15 minutes from us!! It is always a treat when they pop in to talk, play games, join us for a meal, help us with a random project, or help us celebrate a birthday.

For the last 5 years, Andrew has worked as a project manager for a local construction company--the same company Josiah works for. He manages the irrigation branch of the company, and our family does a lot of work for them installing irrigation systems. There have been many days when Josiah, Andrew and all of us end up in the fields together. Talk about fun lunch breaks! :)

Because irrigation work is seasonal, and limited to the spring and fall, Andrew and Kori have enjoyed spending a few months in Florida during the winter and summer with Kori's family.

The past couple of years Andrew and Kori have both been studying and taking classes to obtain their college degrees. This past spring they both graduated with degrees in business management.

If you haven't noticed our whole family enjoys being active and working out, but Andrew has brought that to a whole new level! Working out in his garage, he has been able to compete in quite a few competitions in different states and done well!

Making it to Crossfit regionals the last 3 years has been an exciting addition to the year! He went twice as an individual competitor and, this last year, he went as part of a team from Lincoln.

Each year some of us have been able to go to the competition to cheer him on!

Kori has been a huge blessing with her photography skills! Doing everything from engagement shoots to cd pictures, this girl is amazing!

Music is still a part of each one of the married siblings lives. Andrew has enjoyed playing banjo with the worship team some Sundays at the church they attend in Orlando, and when they come over to our house it is not unusual to hear the guys play a couple tunes together.

This year the biggest change for them is very bittersweet. After living in Nebraska for 5 years God has opened the door for them to do work and ministry in Orlando, Florida. They recently bought a house close to Kori's family, and in a few weeks will be moving the 21 hours south. It is a huge change for everyone and we will miss them terribly!! The best place to be is in the middle of God's will, but that doesn't always mean that it will be easy. We are looking forward to seeing how God uses them down there.

"The LORD will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail."

Lincoln Airshow

Since we have several pilots in our family we were thrilled when the Guardians of Freedom Airshow came to Lincoln again! The last time we were able to see them was in 2006 when Mom was due any day with our youngest sister, Charissa. So it had been a while!

Due to weather, the guys didn't have to work and so we loaded up and headed in for the day.

They ended up having to cancel some of the acts because of the fog. But there was still enough action to make it worth worth the trip in!

Touring one of the planes...

In the middle of work and a really busy week it was very special to take a day and go make memories together.

"Let those also who love Your name
Be joyful in You."

It's time for an update on Bethany's family!

Bethany is married to Daniel Beasley and they have 2 little ones with a 3rd on the way! Arianna is 4 years old and Caden is 2.

After they got married in 2009 they lived in Virginia for several years while Dan went through law school. Then in 2012 they moved to Wisconsin where he worked at a law firm which meant they lived only 8 hours away instead of 24! But this year brought another change and found them moving back out to West Virginia where he is now working as an attorney for the Home School Legal Defense Association. It was hard to see them move so far away but we are excited to see how God is using them out there!!

They bought their first house and are enjoying making it home.

Dan started school again last year for his masters degree. He plans to graduate by the end of this year.

Bethany is enjoying the role of a wife and mother. Appreciating the little moments as well has keeping up with the hustle and bustle of every day life makes for quite the adventure! She continually amazes us with her kitchen masterpieces, handwriting fun, DIY projects, and organizational skills! She also does secretarial work for HSLDA and continues to use her photography when she has the time.

These two are growing fast! They both have a love for books and adventure like their parents and have become quite the best friends.

We are immensely grateful for the technology that makes them seem not quite so far away. Bethany keeps us laughing with the kiddos quips and her busy mommy moments.

We love each and every opportunity to make memories together!

Both Bethany and Dan like to stay physically active. Dan has participated on a relay run across the entire state of Iowa for the last two years as well as playing on a local basketball and softball team.

Bethany has been able to plant a little garden each year which Ari and Caden love!

With a 3rd little blessing arriving in November it will be fun to see what God has in store for this next year as they settle in to life out east.

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights,
with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."

1 + 1 = 5!

 We are so thrilled to announce that a new grand baby is coming in November 2016!!
We are grateful for this precious little life and look forward to meeting the little "tie-breaker" when it arrives. Congratulations Dan, Bethany, Arianna and Caden!

"Stand up and bless the Lord your God forever and ever!
Blessed be Your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise!"

It is now time for... Josiah!

Josiah and his wife Abi, have three little children. Joanna who is 6, Asher 4, and the latest addition, Jenifer

They recently became home owners, and as I write this they're unpacking and settling in to their new home! They still live in Milford, Nebraska, which is less than 2 miles away from us. It is wonderful having them close!!!

Josiah works for a dirt work company most of the year. He runs all the big, intimidating looking machines and does everything from digging trenches and building dams to leveling ground and any other dirt work that needs done.

Then in the summertime he really enjoys doing Aerial Application. Sometimes he flies close enough to home that we get to watch him, which always encourages us to pray even more for his safety! With lots of studying and hard work, he also has his instructors license, and passes the joy of flying onto others.

Abi enjoys being a wife and mother first and foremost. Making a house into a peaceful home with 3 little ones is a full-time job! She also is a Arbonne consultant which is a perfect fit with her friendly personality and love for beauty.

Making memories as a family is always a special treat!

Joanna and Asher both really enjoy their schoolwork, and have done really well! Learning letters, numbers, animals and whatever else you are supposed to learn at that age.

They have totally fallen in love with their newest sister, and would hold her all the time if they could!

Being involved and serving at their local church, is very important to both Josiah and Abi. They have loved being able to help and participate with the kids programs, playing music with the worship team, going to the Bible studies, and playing sports with the people there. Making friends that encourage and challenge you in your walk with Christ, is always a blessing!

Mommy's big kitchen helper!

Winter evenings call for lots of big blankets during family devotions!

"I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety."
