Painting Europe

The paint buckets are stacked on the counter. The brushes, plastic, color chips, and markers are within reach. Measuring tools are in abundance. Photos of the Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, and Windmills are posted around our workspace.

It looks like we have another children's conference just around the corner!

This past week our creative juices were in full motion as we worked to build and paint many of the landmarks from Europe for our upcoming drama and ministry next weekend at the Nebraska Christian State Homeschool Association's annual convention. Here's a glimpse into the early stages of our projects:

...and more cutting.
We're so thankful for a local cardboard company who donates sheets and sheets of wonderful cardboard each year. Having such quality (and quantity) to work with is a huge asset!
Now that the cardboard is all designed and cut out, the painting process begins!
In addition to the practical, fun, and physical items needed for this conference, we're also digging into lesson plans. Memorizing verses. Singing the songs. And preparing our hearts to minister to the hundreds of children who will be impacted by the conference.
Our family has also been asked to share in music and testimony for the keynote session on Friday evening.
We covet your prayers!

which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Eph. 2:10
