Branson 2014

There are certain places that open a wealth of memories:

Special moments. Treasured conversations. Laughter. Adventure.

After traveling the past fifteen years, our family has more than our share of those memorable places. When we talk of these locations and friends, the memories literally burst forth into animated conversations. (Have you ever listened to a dozen people hash out memories at once?!)

And hands-down, one of those places is Branson, Missouri.

For three years (2008 - 2010) we were able to share the powerful message of Jesus Christ during the Christmas season. What a joy! What a completely stretching experience!

If you've ever been to a Branson show, you know it involves much more than a concert: Costumes. Choreography. Stage lights. Marketing.

Those three seasons (6 months, collectively) brought so many dynamic opportunities to share the Gospel. And who doesn't like the distinct, lovely sound of Christmas music?! Those are still some of our most treasured Christmas memories together.

So you can imagine our delighted shock when we recently received a phone call from a Branson theater. Would we be interested in returning with our Christmas show this year?!

Needless to say, our whole fall/winter schedule has literally been turned upside down. Please pray for us as we earnestly prepare for our upcoming season in Branson! We're adding instruments (viola, mandola, or concertina, anyone?) and practicing for hours on end. The sewing machines have been whizzing and there are a multitude of details to wrap up before we head to Branson in November.

I'll be posting more photos and news soon, but know that we covet your prayers as we prepare for this awesome ministry during the Christmas season! Maybe we'll see you in Branson!!?

Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonders among all peoples.
1 Chron. 16:24

How neat! Who's going to be playing the new instruments? (btw, how do you guys pick up a new instrument so fast?!)

Branson sounds so nice, I wish I could hear you perform.

That is wonderful news! You will only be a few hours from Kansas City, so of course we will come to see you!!

Meeting your family at the Homeschool Family Camp was such a blessing for us! We can't wait to see you all and share in your joy for the Christmas season!

Blessings from the Werners!
