Ruth's Adventures

While the family is touring in northern Wisconsin today, I've decided to take a short divergent to share some of Ruth's new adventures with you. (This is Rachel writing, in case you were wondering!) I'm sure the family will eventually find their way back to the online world and when that happens, we'll be flooded with the great pictures and updates from their week on the road.

But until then, let's take a quick detour.

The Lord has been providing some exciting new opportunities for Ruth these days. After spending the past ten years working closely with a nutritionist, she has decided to pursue nutrition and midwifery on a full-time basis. This has become her heart and passion as she's already been working as a doula and nutritionist as our touring schedule allowed. She's assisted friends and family in the often-confusing journey of making intentional, healthy choices in diet and exercise. Her long-term goal is to become a certified midwife, and she is already progressing through her course-work.

Over the past several years of traveling, we've received many health-related questions:

"How do you all stay in shape?"
"How do you avoid being sick while exposed to people all the time?"
"How do you grow such awesome tomatoes...or broccoli...or peppers...in your garden?"

Honestly, Ruth has revolutionized our eating habits and general diet in such a creative, tasteful way. She has successfully found answers for difficult health issues our family has faced -- including situations that left the medical doctors puzzled.

After spending countless hours helping individuals with their specific health challenges, Ruth is now thrilled to have a practical, balanced, and effective supplement to recommend. If you are dealing with health concerns, feel free to contact her for more information.

We're excited to see what the coming months hold for Ruth as she devotes full time to studying and pursing her passions. She won't be traveling with the family except for occasional events, but we'll try to keep you posted on her endeavors.

In order to share some of the knowledge she's gleaned over the past years, she has started up a Facebook page to share recipes, gardening tips, and general nutrition facts. You won't want to miss her informative updates, so head on over and 'like' her page to receive these posts on your newsfeed!!

"For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work;
I will triumph in the works of Your hands."
