40 Hours of Action

We just completed a quick visit home. That tiny space of time, spent unpacking and re-packing again. Our trip to the north country was so blessed. We greatly enjoyed getting to see many of you dear readers and friends in person! Mom is working to write out specific answers to prayer and highlights from the trip that I look forward to sharing -- with pictures -- soon.

But back to our short time at home. With only 40 hours at our Milford address, we quickly discovered our gardens had been working overtime in our absence! Cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, beans, peppers,...yes, produce in wonderful abundance!

Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work! What a blessing it is to have vegetables to store up for the winter meals. How fun and lively it is to have seven girls all working in the kitchen at once; singing, laughing, and racing to complete the projects at hand.

Our work all cut out for us

Busy fingers!

And jars set to cool in the sunset.

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance.
Ps 98:15

How fun! My parents and I don't keep a garden, but my grandparents keep a small one, and I know they take oodles of hard work. But so worth the effort! :) Especially with such enjoyable company!
