Have we already been home a month?! The weeks have been filled with activity as we've been working on our latest recording project, spending busy days in the fields, and enjoying an abundance of hospitality opportunities.

And in the midst of those projects, we're excited to prepare for the NCHEA Kid Conference again! This year we're stepping back into the 1940s with a drama highlighting the challenges and heroism of that great generation, and challenging us to evaluate our personal decisions in light of God's Word and ways.

Six of our family members are leading or helping with the teaching teams this year, so there has been an abundance of preparing lesson plans, visual aids, and WW2 decor. We're praying that the Lord will truly use this weekend in our lives personally, and in the life of each child as we endeavor to share His truth and love.

And now for a few pictures of our preparations:

A projector gives perfect lettering every time!

Rachel has been helping from Kansas, sewing costumes for the drama.

Preparing for the teaching sessions.

Training starts on Thursday and the children arrive on Friday. Soli Deo Gloria!

And in that day you will say:
"Praise the LORD, call upon His name
Declare His deeds among the peoples,
Make mention that His name is exalted.
Isaiah 12:4

How exciting. I wish I was closer and could help with the sewing of your costumes--it's what I love to do. Can't wait to see what Rachel comes up with,

Blessings, Mrs, Mari

Exciting! Looks like fun. You guys sure have lots of creativity. The idea of using a projector would help a lot.

Now that NCHEA is concluded with amazing success, I just want to thank all the Wissmann family for their Herculean work ethic in preparing so many fabulous props (that bridge worked perfectly), decorations, and cut-outs, not to mention all of their work with the curriculum and in the classrooms. And they did it all in addition to their hard work in the fields. And they ALWAYS have a sincere smile on their faces. Folks, they are the most remarkable family I know! And I just want every reader of this blog to know that, too.
Dear Wissmann family, you are all a blessing to God's work on earth!!!!! And to me, too!!!! Thank you!!!!
