Thank You!

In looking back over events from the past week, we are once again so grateful for God's faithfulness and incredible goodness. We have been blessed to see the Lord answer so many of your prayers on our behalf. Thank you for praying!

Here are just a few of the things that happened the last week -- Wednesday there was a bad storm that was coming through Alabama which can cause the services to be cancelled. But God was so faithful and everything ended up going fine. None of the services were cancelled!

After each one of the services we had someone come and ask Dad what he could do to have a impact on his children's lives. At one of the services a man told Dad that seeing the little children interact with Daddy made him realize how greatly his actions affect his 2 year old son - for good or evil.

Thursday evening was the last night of the prison services. We got in, had a good service, loaded up our stuff, and got out to the bus, only then we found out that the starter in the bus would not work. But God was not taken by surprise and long story short, there was a gentleman in the area that had the parts and knew what to do. So before long we were back on the road! :)

We would appreciate your continued prayers as we will head into the South Carolina prisons this next week. Sunday is the orientation, and we have prison services from Monday to Thursday.

"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there, But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower
And bread to the eater,
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
--Isaiah 55:10-11

There is no side bar on your blog...is everything working? And there was no ending to the post about Rachel's birthday.
