Moving Day

One blessing of touring is the opportunity to hear and see what the Lord is doing around the country. Dad and Mom have always shared with us that often 'real ministry' happens by simple, behind-the-scenes serving. And today we were excited to share in a bit of that hidden work.

The Sammy Tippit ministry, based in Texas, is involved with church planting and mission work around the globe. And the timing of our trip through their area couldn't have been better. They were planning to move their ministry office to a larger building on the exact day we had availible. Since many hands make light work, we were able to put our 'pent-up-in-the-bus' energies to good use...and enjoy their fellowship at the same time!

What a great opportunity to serve -- sometimes it's the simple things like that that bless you the most. :)

Packing and moving is a lot easier if everyone is helping each other. You will not find it boring or stressing too because you are surrounded with good people who are willing to work and finish ahead of time. You see, everyone was so happy. They have big smiles on their faces after seeing the result of their hard work.
