Engaged!

Its with great rejoicing that we announce my [Rachel] engagement to Alan Busenitz! I am overwhelmed with the Lord's goodness and faithfulness throughout this journey. We both look forward to the coming days and covet your prayers during this special season of life as we plan a June 30, 2012 wedding!

Feeling Festive

As the calender pages turned to December, our family took a day to prepare for the joyous Christmas season. What a beautiful season this is to celebrate! The wonder of a King born in a manger. A Savior. Love personified. Forgiveness possible. Fellowship restored. We have reason to celebrate!

Since we're home this December, we've enjoyed the opportunity to make our home festive for the season. This included the adventure of looking for just the right tree to decorate our home!

Enjoying Asher

Babies are such a joy! And we've been treasuring each moment we have with little Asher David. What a treat it is to watch him grow and change -- almost daily! I'm always in awe of how perfectly and wonderfully the Lord has knit each newborn. And I may be biased, but the babies in our family are just the cutest ever! *smile*
