Branson DVD

With our family in a bit of a different season this winter, we will not be sharing our annual Christmas production in Branson this year. However, we're extremely excited to announce that we have completed the DVD project of our 2010 show!!

Complete with the 90 minute production of all the music, lights, costumes, and message of our Branson show, this DVD also includes our 11 minute pre-show video and a collection of humorous 'blooper-outakes'.

We hope this DVD will have your family laughing, singing, and enjoying the Branson-style production together. But even more than that, may the message and reality of Christ's birth be born afresh in your hearts as you rejoice with us in this wondrous gift!

The DVDs will be ready to ship on December 14th, so order your copy soon to ensure delivery before Christmas!

Greetings from Nashville, Tennessee! This week our family is excited to share in part with the National Bible Bee Convention here in the downtown area. We covet your prayers during our times of sharing in the next few days and look forward to giving a report of the Lord's work through the Convention.

Reunion Concert

Thanksgiving is coming -- and with it, the joy of spending time together as a family. With this theme, we're very excited to announce a 'family reunion' concert over Thanksgiving weekend! If you're in the northeastern Iowa area, we'd love to have you join us on Friday, November 25th for an evening of music and fellowship.

Although Josiah and Abi will be unable to travel with us [because of lil' junior's due date], we're looking forward to having Dan & Bethany, Andrew & Kori, and Alan along for the concert. We'd love to see you there, too! Here's the info:

Day of Chickens

What happens when I forget to bring our camera during our latest family adventure? I'm stuck with only a few phone pictures to tell the story! But maybe its just as well because there's something unpleasant about high resolution pictures of chicken butchering.

Yes, that is correct. Chicken butchering. Yesterday we spent the afternoon with friends who so kindly raise broilers for our family every year. Thus, the annual event has become a fun tradition for our family. I'm so thankful for all the practical skills we're able to learn as we work on food preservation together!

I'm rejoicing and in awe of the marvelous working of the Lord in my life recently -- especially regarding a dynamic, wonderful man named Alan Busenitz. Alan lives in central Kansas as he farms and is involved in various local ministries. We are overjoyed with how the Lord has been clearly directing and drawing our hearts to each other and will look forward to sharing more details in the months to come!!
