She Can't Stop Smiling!

...and can you guess why?

I'm rejoicing and in awe of the marvelous working of the Lord in my life recently -- especially regarding a dynamic, wonderful man named Alan Busenitz. Alan lives in central Kansas as he farms and is involved in various local ministries. We are overjoyed with how the Lord has been clearly directing and drawing our hearts to each other and will look forward to sharing more details in the months to come!!

"Many, O LORD my God,
are Your wonderful works which You have done!"
Ps 40:5

Oh, Rachel. Even though I don't know you, I was hoping this wouldn't happen to you; that you wouldn't be like other girls. It's just, your family and lots of other people will miss your singing in the family CD's, and your enthusiasm and creativity with every cool project you Wissmann's come up with with. Sorry, but I'm sort of sad about this. *tear. I just can't help it!

Rachel, I am so happy for you! From time to time I've prayed for you along those lines, and I rejoice with you that God has brought to you a man whom you have peace about allowing to pursue you. You are a treasure, and I admire and encourage you in the godly values you hold and practice, including waiting for God's timing to reveal His plan for you regarding such a special friendship. May God continue to guide your steps. I'll be watching for further details of
your story. :) NH

Wow! I'm so happy for you and Alan!!! I will certainly be praying for you, and look forward to seeing how God directs your relationship. I really appreciate your godly example…. not too many young people today are willing to give this area of their life to the Lord. May He richly bless you for that!

Yes, good luck to you both...Surprising post and you two look very happy. It is funny, Alan looks so much older than you, like 10 years older. You will definitely have to explain how your paths crossed.

Can we consider this a courtship announcement? Exciting times.

Dear Rachel,

You have been such a beautiful testimony of waiting on the Lord and *joyfully* trusting Him as He walks you through your life journey...and trusting Him in this area of your life as well; which can at times be difficult, can't it?!

The Lord is always so faithful. Thank you for being the encouragement and blessing that you are ~ may Jesus Christ bless you richly as you start down a new and wonderful path:)

Rejoicing for you!!!!

Blessings,
Jenna

And here are the smiles that we lurkers have all been waiting for! These smiles have been missing after Andrew and Kori got married, and we're sure glad to have them back. We will also gladly welcome other smiles, so in case there are some more hidden in the closet, bring them out!! :)
