July 4th

Here are some much-belated pictures of our July 4th celebration here in Seward. What a special day! Please pardon the excess of random pictures, but we are posting many of them especially at a few family members' requests! [We love you Dan & Bethany -- and Grandpa and Grandma!]

Gotta love the variety of family fun in Seward!

Stephen competed in the 3-on-3 basketball and we all had a wonderful time cheering for him!

Happy smiles cheering for our team!

Andrew had the biggest day as he competed in the strongman competition. Here he's lifting 75 lbs as many times as possible in 60 seconds. He lifted it 39 times.

Round 2 was carrying these railroad ties.

And finally, he dead-lifted this car 22 times to take first place in his division.

His favorite and best encourager!

And a highlight for our family is sharing a concert at the local auditorium. It was here where we first shared in the Seward community over 11 years ago. What a joy to share with the hometown folks who have encouraged us over the past years!

Another little look-alike?! *smile*

"Sing to the LORD, bless His name;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day."
Psalm 96:2

It looks like your family had a wonderful July 4th. Thank you for sharing your big day. Everyone (Charissa!) is growing so much! We appreciate your music ministry and seeing all of you working together joyfully, especially the daughters.

The competitions here look like fun. Our boys want to incorporate those ideas sometime and have our own contests!

Wow! You all had a lot of activitie this 4th of July. How fun it must have been!
We had a family campfire and sang patriotic songs around the fire, watched fireworks and roasted marshmallows to make s'mores.

I am a homeschooled boy in VA. I play guitar, and I love your family's music. Thank you for the ministry you do, and I hope you all will come near us sometime soon.
