With the luxury of enjoying our full kitchen, our home was recently a whirlwind of delightful activity! A good friend initiated spending some time making Valentines Day goodies to share with local friends and neighbors in our community. She came armed with 8 new recipes to try and a basketful of ingredients. And thus began our very *SWEET* afternoon!

Alaythia rolls out the sugar cookies.

Mixing up the chocolate/caramel brownies.
[Can't you just smell that delicious chocolate?!]
And Abi joined us for the afternoon! She opted for the job of unwrapping caramels. Many thanks for your prayers on her behalf. She's feeling much better after her surgery and her tests resulted in a clean bill of health! We're thanking the Lord!

"Grandma" takes time out to play with Joanna and Charissa.

Toffee-crunch bars

And Charissa is ready to start arranging the plates!
Mmmmmmmm!
The finished product!
How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! Psalm 119:103

Looks like you guys had fun! Just wondering if you are going to be at home this weekend? We are going to be in Lincoln for Bible Bowl. February 17th - 20th. :)

Amazing! Looks great. :)
Mmmm...looks delicious! I'm sure the recipients felt very blessed with the treats you made. =) I love baking too! In fact, just yesterday I made fruit pizza for my birthday, and it was delicious! =)
Also, on a side note, I was checking your schedule and saw that you are coming to Norwalk in July. I was so excited, because we live about 15-10 minutes from there. =) Then I realized we have camp that week...bummer! Currently our church does not have a building of our own (and we do not plan to); instead we rent a school on Sundays and Wednesday nights. But if we did have our own building, I'm sure we would invite y'all to come sing sometime! =)
Love in Christ,
Annie
