Heading Out

Its been a cozy, sweet couple weeks at home.

But now 'tis the time to do some bulk shopping

And start to pack and restock our bus kitchen.

Load up the instruments and once again head out on the road.

Tonight we arrived in Tennessee and were delighted to discover temps in the 40s -- treat we haven't experienced in weeks!

Time to set up the sound equipment.

And prepare for the evening ahead.

But whether home or on the road, the goal is the same: to let everything I do bring glory to the Lord. It may be small, unseen acts of kindness or tedious daily tasks, or it may be standing on stage proclaiming the matchless love of my Jesus. Wherever I find myself, let my heart earnestly say:

In all I do, Lord, make my life a song to You!

"Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name"
Psalm 63:3-4

Thanks for sharing the pictures, Rachel! I had to smile at the "bulk shopping", because we do too. However, we only have four children, and girls at that. =) I don't know what it would be like to cook for so many people all the time! Certainly would be different. =)
Enjoy that warm weather! It is SO cold here.
Also, thanks for sharing that last paragraph and verse about serving the Lord in everything we do...I needed to hear it again! And I love how you have Psalm 40:3 on your new header. I recently found that verse in my devotion time and wrote it in the front of my journal, so I was excited to see you had used it! Oh, and a very nice job on your looks lovely!
Many Blessings,

We reached 40 degrees on the 22nd but with rain, rain, rain. No snow on the ground either for the most part. :-)

I've been praying for the prison ministry and that hearts and minds will hear and respond to Jesus' love coming through your family and the others there.

You're doing a great job on the photos Hannah!

I know I already commented on this post, but I just couldn't wait to leave another comment until you post again. =) So...
If you would like to hear a short clip of a few girls (from our BL group) singing "The Smile Song", click the link below. I hope you enjoy! =)

Y'all are such an inspiration to us! A while ago when I mentioned that I know you, one of the younger girls' eyes got really big. "Wait, you actually KNOW them? Like, you've actually talked to them before?!" It was cute. =)
Have a blessed day!
