It's hard to believe we've already started into the forth week of our Branson stay! Two weeks of preparations, and we're now in the middle of our second week sharing at the Music City Theater. We've already seen so many answered prayers:
Costumes completed in time. With a relatively small amount of time to get 50+ costumes bought, sewn, and tied together, it was amazing how the Lord daily answered prayers and enabled us to be completely finished the week before our first show!
Exactly what we needed was available in the local stores. As we reached the final week of our preparations, we were still needing a few 'specialty' items. Without the convenience of a fabric store nearby, we were dependent on the local mall. Thankfully, the Lord enabled us to find exactly what was needed and in the right sizes!
Health and safety. During the first week of our show, Nathanael came down with a nasty stomach flu. After being up every 30 minutes during the night to 'be sick', we were concerned that he'd be unable to play his key parts in the show. We prayed over him, and he sang like a trouper. Afterwards he told us that whenever he stepped on the stage, his stomachache went away completely! Praise the Lord. Within 24 hours he was back to his active self and -- most amazing -- the rest of us never caught his flu bug!
Favor with the theater management and staff. We're so grateful to be working with fellow believers at the Music City Center. We've enjoyed great fellowship with them and they are extremely supportive of the message we share in our show. It's such a blessing to work with God's people!
God's drawing people to the show. We've been amazed at the number of people who have come to our show from seemingly random advertising sources. One couple found our rack card laying on a restaurant table. Another just happened to drive by our sign and noted it was almost showtime, so decided to stop!
The sweet spirit of the Lord in the theater. We daily pray that everything we share would not be of us, but rather to the glory and honor of Christ. It's only through the Lord's work that any fruit will come from our labors. And often after a show we'll hear a comment like this:
"There's something different about your show. I can't really put my finger on it. But it's such a sweet spirit!" We know this is only of the Lord!
I share all this because it is a direct answer to prayer -- and I know many, many of you are praying for us! May the Lord continue to use our small efforts and your generous prayers to make an impact His kingdom!
And now for a few pictures! *smile*

Our dressing room full of clothing and costumes!

Rehearsals...lots and lots of practice!!

Since we have a larger stage this year, we're able to do a bit with choreography. Which was fun to rehearse in their mega-sized mirror!

Preparations for the dress rehearsal

A bit more filming

O Holy Night

Fun times!

And the message that captures the whole season: Jesus Christ!
Again, we covet your prayers! Each new day is an adventure as we recognize our dependence on the Lord drawing and ministering through this opportunity. May HE be glorified!

And I will glorify Your name forevermore." Psalms 86:12
