Daily Life

Hey! This is Hannah again, I think I have pictures of about every thing I said I would last time -- which if you remember was "throwing the football, swimming, singing, practicing, doing school, cleaning house, doing dishes, hanging out with friends, having fun, riding roller coasters, doing the show, singing at restaurants and anything else I could capture with the camera." Well I got pictures of most of the stuff we've done:

::Learning Phonics! ::

:: Getting ready to sing at Hotels and Restaurants ::

:: Practice Time! ::

:: Swimming with friends ::

:: Throwing the football ::

:: It's time to play in the leaves! ::

Smiles

:: Now it's time to rake the leaves back into one big pile ::

:: Back to MATH!!! ::

:: Ready to go sing! ::

:: Dishes ::

:: Game time ::

:: Susanna and I ::

:: Down at the lake ::

:: Smile ::

Thank you all for your prayers! In addition to these pictures and activities, we continue to marvel at the Lord's goodness each day as we share in Branson. We continue to see daily answers to prayer. People drawn to the theater. Good health. Heartfelt conversations. And finding joy in serving the Lord together! We're so grateful!

"For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

Smiles in Branson

Hello everyone! This is Hannah again. I thought I would give ya'll a glimpse of us in Branson! Hopefully I will get more pictures up this week....I keep forgetting to grab the camera whenever we do something worth taking pictures of, thus the reason of our somewhat lack of posts on here! :) Maybe I will 'someday' get pictures of us throwing the football, swimming, singing, practicing, doing school, cleaning house, doing dishes, hanging out with friends, having fun, riding roller coasters, doing the show, singing at restaurants, and anything else I could possibly capture with the camera! :) But since I don't have those pictures now, you will have to be content with these pictures and the promise of more in the future!

:: Susanna and I all ready for the show to began ::

:: Rachel and Anna ::
(It's so much fun spending time with friends)

:: Craft time ::

:: Smiling while sitting in the car waiting to leave ::

:: Nathanael standing outside the car waiting to leave :) ::

That's all for now!

"But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy!"

Our first weeks...

It's hard to believe we've already started into the forth week of our Branson stay! Two weeks of preparations, and we're now in the middle of our second week sharing at the Music City Theater. We've already seen so many answered prayers:

Costumes completed in time. With a relatively small amount of time to get 50+ costumes bought, sewn, and tied together, it was amazing how the Lord daily answered prayers and enabled us to be completely finished the week before our first show!

Exactly what we needed was available in the local stores. As we reached the final week of our preparations, we were still needing a few 'specialty' items. Without the convenience of a fabric store nearby, we were dependent on the local mall. Thankfully, the Lord enabled us to find exactly what was needed and in the right sizes!

Health and safety. During the first week of our show, Nathanael came down with a nasty stomach flu. After being up every 30 minutes during the night to 'be sick', we were concerned that he'd be unable to play his key parts in the show. We prayed over him, and he sang like a trouper. Afterwards he told us that whenever he stepped on the stage, his stomachache went away completely! Praise the Lord. Within 24 hours he was back to his active self and -- most amazing -- the rest of us never caught his flu bug!

Favor with the theater management and staff. We're so grateful to be working with fellow believers at the Music City Center. We've enjoyed great fellowship with them and they are extremely supportive of the message we share in our show. It's such a blessing to work with God's people!

God's drawing people to the show. We've been amazed at the number of people who have come to our show from seemingly random advertising sources. One couple found our rack card laying on a restaurant table. Another just happened to drive by our sign and noted it was almost showtime, so decided to stop!

The sweet spirit of the Lord in the theater. We daily pray that everything we share would not be of us, but rather to the glory and honor of Christ. It's only through the Lord's work that any fruit will come from our labors. And often after a show we'll hear a comment like this: "There's something different about your show. I can't really put my finger on it. But it's such a sweet spirit!" We know this is only of the Lord!

I share all this because it is a direct answer to prayer -- and I know many, many of you are praying for us! May the Lord continue to use our small efforts and your generous prayers to make an impact His kingdom!

And now for a few pictures! *smile*

Our dressing room full of clothing and costumes!

Rehearsals...lots and lots of practice!!

Since we have a larger stage this year, we're able to do a bit with choreography. Which was fun to rehearse in their mega-sized mirror!

Preparations for the dress rehearsal

A bit more filming

And here are a few pictures of our dress rehearsal:

Fun times!

And the message that captures the whole season: Jesus Christ!

Again, we covet your prayers! Each new day is an adventure as we recognize our dependence on the Lord drawing and ministering through this opportunity. May HE be glorified!

Bridal Showers

This is long over-due, but we're still smiling to think of our special week at home -- enjoying a visit from our wonderful sister-to-be, Kori. What a delightful weekend we shared together! A highlight from that time was two bridal showers, helping prepare Andrew and Kori for their new home. I've promised pictures, but Kori captured both events so well on her blog. So if you'd like to see more pictures, pop on over!

In our home area we hosted a Pampered Chef shower -- and since Andrew really enjoys spending time in the kitchen, we thought it only appropriate to invite both gals and guys to the party!

Finished masterpieces!

Our friend, Anna, also hosted a shower for our church family -- all themed in the Nebraska Husker regalia! We quickly voted it the most unique and lively showers we've ever attended!

Kori -- we're greatly looking forward to having you as a real sister!

are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well."

Requesting Prayer

The costumes have been sewn. The musical arrangements completed. Lighting and sound have been practiced, and staging props prepared.

And tomorrow is the big day. Honestly, we have been clinging to the following verse this weekend --
"The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but victory rests with the Lord." Ps. 21:31

We can invest much time and effort to share the message with excellence -- and that is certainly our intent. But ultimately, we recognize that it's God Who draws people and works in their hearts. So we're earnestly praying for His grace and power to be at work in a mighty way. Our new theater is significantly larger than we've had in previous years. We're praying for God to bring people to the show. And especially for the Gospel message to go forth and touch hearts. There is such an incredible opportunity to share the message of Jesus Christ during this season!

Would you join us in prayer for this opportunity?! Our first show is at 10:00 tomorrow morning, and we covet the prayers of you, dear friends. May the Lord do mighty works for His glory!

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
And I will glorify Your name forevermore.
