In the Orange Grove

In spite of several freezes this year, there were still fresh Florida oranges waiting to be picked and juiced. Mmmmmmm!

"Let us now fear the LORD our God, Who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He reserves for us the appointed weeks of the harvest." Jer. 5:24

It was such a treat to have Andrew fly down to join us for a week in Orlando. Of course, we're not sure he came entirely to see us! [laugh] But we loved having him around for a few days and enjoyed watching his deepening friendship with Kori. We love you both!

Those oranges sure look delicious! I enjoyed seeing all the pictures...looks nice and warm in Florida! In Iowa it is still very much winter, but hopefully this week the temperature will rise and some of this snow will melt!

I wish we had those temperatures here! The oranges look wonderful! It does look like you will have a lot of citrus to eat this next week. But I don't think it will take you long to go through that, with the size of your family!

Those oranges look so yummy! I think by the time they arrive in Canada they have lost a fair bit of their fresh flavor! I have always hoped that "someday" I will be able to pick and eat some oranges fresh off the tree :) Thanks for the reminder of how much fun that would be!!! Rosalie Pauls

Oranges are indeed a taste of sunshine. Thankfully, here in Spain, there is no shortage. Here we can buy special 'juice' oranges which heve very thin skins and sometimes just one will make a glass of juice. Thank you Lord for fruit.
