New Website!

Over the past several years we've been so grateful for our dear friend, Mindy and the many ways she's blessed us with her html/design skills. I'm sure she's spent countless hours updating our website! Now she's delighting in a lively home with three young children, so computer time is at a premium!

Thus, we're embarking on the adventure of web design ourselves! The past few months I've been working on a new design and trying to get all the details pulled together -- and now at last it's finished! Hurray! So pop on over to visit our new family site. We'd love your feedback!

"The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices,
And with my song I will praise Him."
Psalm 28:7

Rachel, you did a wonderful job on the site! It's amazing. Wish I could do stuff like that... =) Did you have to figure out all the html and such, or did you have to have some help?

Very, very, well done. While the Lord truly gets the credit, He used you -- and web sites are not quick/easy (hence the several months you've been working on it). Great job!

Great job on the website, Rachel. The updated color and pics complement each other nicely. The updated bios are also well written. I really like the vector graphic with a low opacity against the background. Did you draw that? Or did you get it from somewhere?

One bit of feedback: for the sake of usability and maybe search engine optimization, you might want to consider hyperlinking the entire image on the website intro screen, as opposed to the smaller "enter here" button.

Great job!

Awesome job, Rachel! Both your family's and Josiah & Abi's blogs look great - how long did it take? Also, whichever one of you wrote up the new bios did a good job, too. We're all hoping you folks can make it to Michigan this year; we'll be tracking the schedule. :)

God bless!

Daniel Bryson (for all)

P.S. To all the Wissmann sisters: excellent job on your CD! Sounds great, good songs!

The website looks wonderful, Rachel! I love all of the new headers and photos of your family! The purple and fonts are beautiful! Did you use Scrapblog.com to design the headers?

Blessings!
Joyfully in Jesus,

Wow, Rachel! looks great.
On Dan & Bethany's bio, the 2009 runs onto the next line.
Otherwise the only difference I'd wish to see is on your schedule- an "Iowa" somewhere on it.... ;)

Rachel,

I noticed that you now have an email newsletter! What's that about?

Thanks!

It would be nice if you had samples of each of your songs on your CDs (on the website)! I always listen to a CD before buying it. It's hard to buy blind!

Yes! We've started an e-mail newsletter. Our goal is to keep in touch on a more regular basis. It'll probably consist of an article from Dad or one of the family, recent prayer requests, along with our schedule from month to month. We used to have a 'regular' mail newsletter, but as the list has grown and our travels increase, we've been unable to keep up with our schedule and recent news! Hopefully this will help!

And in regards to sample music clips -- YES! That is certainly my goal and the work is in process! For now, you can hear sample clips from a few of our songs on Behemoth.com. But check back in a week and we'll hopefully have sound clips on our site, too.

I completely understand your request as I always hesitate to purchase music before I've heard a sample, too! [smile]

Blessings!

Oh that's exciting about the newsletter! I'll surely sign up. =)

Also, that is so exciting about some of your music being on bluebehemoth.com I didn't know that before, and of course I have all the CDs, but it's still really neat. =)

Blessings!
