I will be praying for him. I hope that the Lord will bless him in all that he does!! I know it is sad I have had to say good bye to my brothers lots of times. Many blessings!

What a special post! It brought tears to my eyes as I thought about how we'll be doing the same thing in the not to distant future.
I'm sure you all will miss Andrew but how exciting as he follows where the Lord leads him!

Wow!! I could cry! Such a sad and emotional parting!! I remember the first time my oldest brother left home for around 6 weeks. it was the first time any of us had left home for that long. It was a very emotional time filled with tears!! I can remember at the airport watching him walk around the corner out of sight into security and barely being able to see through my tears!! I'll be praying for you all during this time!!

Goodbyes are hard but you do have the promise that someday, hopefully soon, but none the less that you'll meet again.

this post made me cry. To see y'alls emotion and love for your brother/son, as he leaves to go fulfill this calling from the Lord. I love the way you used that song; I remember way back when you used it for Josiah, and how very fitting it is! That can't be very easy, but what sweet peace to know that you are in the will of God, and He has greater plans than you can even imagine. Thanks for this post...it puts things in perspective. =-)
