How Beautiful... the body of Christ.

Once again we were touched by this treasure of fellowship as we traveled back to Nebraska this week. To weep with those who weep, embracing our dear friends in this great time of loss, and through the pain being reminded again that we live to proclaim a living Hope.

The hope and promise that we will one day be re-united with our loved ones who are in Christ.

And while we will deeply miss the energetic, cheerful radiance of Alaina's life, we cling to the promises in God's Word that she is rejoicing in His presence. I'm sure Josh would appreciate your prayers in the weeks and months ahead.

Many thanks, also, for your prayers for us as we traveled many miles this past week. I know we've said it before, but we truly are grateful for you, our dear blog readers and prayer partners!

"Better to go to the house of mourning
Than to go to the house of feasting,
For that is the end of all men;
And the living will take it to heart."
Ecc. 7:2
"The LORD is close to the broken hearted..."
Psalm 34:18

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for coming to our house of mourning and sharing our grief and ministering truth in song and your presence. You get the "heroic effort" award. It meant so much to us!
