Welcome...

...to a new instrument joining our 'family'!

Yes, Elizabeth has been diligently practicing cello this month...with hopes of adding it to our musical arrangements soon. It always amazes me to think of the variety and rich unique quality of sound each instrument adds to our collection.

Kinda like the varying, unique gifts in the body of Christ?! [smile]

"Praise God in his sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
...Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes...
Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!"
Psalm 150:1,4,6

My question is, when do your kids do school? If you're always traveling, how do get the time to do the normal school schedule? Plus with the instruments, that takes up time. I know because I play the violin and piano, and am in school 8 hours a day. So how do you do it?

Congratulations Elizabeth. You will be adding a special sound and talent to the group.

With a cello, harp, flute, piano, etc., you can add a more serious and even a "classical" touch to your program.

It gives you a wide variety of musical formats to present to your audience.

Wish you all the best

I wondered who played the cello! I saw a picture of the case in a picture of your moving. How exciting! I can't wait to hear it in your group. The instrument is so rich.
I have played around on my brother's, but being a violinist, it's difficult to get the bow hold down (on cello) because they are so different!
