He's Back!

The long-awaited day has come -- we start welcoming our summer missionaries home! Andrew & Micah Nelson arrived home last evening after many hours of travel. Between the Nelson family & ours, we made quite a crowd while waiting for them to get off the plane in Omaha's airport!

Charissa got her hug -- and wouldn't leave her "ndew"!

Hugs all around

We are very thankful that they made it safely home. Unfortunately their luggage has not! Two pieces of luggage are on their way from Chicago, while the whereabouts of the other two pieces are still in question! The airline is doing their best to locate it.
Upon arriving home (and Andrew now having been up for 24 hours straight) we couldn't call it a night until the instruments came out and several songs had been played! What a joy!

"Bless the Lord, all you His hosts: you ministers of His,
that do His pleasure. Bless the Lord, O my soul!"
Psalm 103:21-22

Charissa is really growing (and ever so cute!)
Welcome back Andrew! I'm sure it was fun to play instruments with everyone again. :)

You guys should just go to Chicago and claim the luggage next week because then I'd be there! :)

Yay! The banjo picker returns! :-) We are glad to hear that you are safely back at home with your sweet family. And hopefully those other two bags will be good prodigals and find their way home as well! ;-)

Just wanted to drop you a line to say that I have been following your blog since our boys went to the Ukraine together with CMO. I am Roy Gregson's mother. I have lots of friends who've been blogging for a while and they finally convinced me to join in. I love your beautiful family and hope to be able to meet you sometime! Roy says "Hi" to Andrew!
