Branson...

Home to millions of lights, crowds of visitors, music, and other attractions -- make this one of the nation's most visited Christmas destinations.

And it's one place we never dreamed --or desired -- to stay for more than a quick visit on occasion. But God takes our prayers seriously. Let me explain...

During our 'Seek the Lord' week this January, Dad was impressed with the need to pray that the Lord would show us how to have an impact in our nation's secular culture. Yes, we treasure our times of encouragement and fellowship in hundreds of churches across the country. But what good does the salt do if it continually sits in the shaker with the other salt?! [smile]

And thus we began to pray. To our amazement, we've been given the opportunity to share our annual Christmas 'Show' at the Circle B Theater in Branson, Missouri during the months of November and December. Every day --except Sunday -- the 90 minute show will start at 10AM.

This is a whole new venue for us and we'd appreciate your prayers as we work on all the details involved. At this point, a major obstacle is getting the word out to a nation-wide crowd -- especially bus tours who plan their schedules far in advance. If you know of tours planned in your area or would like to share our information with family and friends, please contact us for free brochures.

With many thanks to our dear friend, Mindy, our new Christmas site is underway and we are excited to see what the Lord has in store as we embark on the new waters ahead. We covet your prayers as we prepare musically, theatrically -- and most of all....spiritually. May we be found faithful and the Lord's name be glorified!

"I will praise You, O LORD, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
And Your glory above all the earth;"
Psalm 108:3&5

That's great news!!!

I've been hoping and praying that something along those lines would happen so the message of Christ's salvation through your music and words would be broadcast before a wider audience!

What an exciting opportunity to be "salt and light". Your family is such a testimony of what God can do with those who are love Him and His ways. We will pray that God will give you many more open doors for sharing His gospel.

PS--I still think that brochure should have said, "14 children...one family"...(smile) lol!

Wow, that sounds like a great opportunity. I know that we will probably be down there sometime this christmas season. We go every year, well almost every year. If your show wasn't so early we probably could make it but we will have to see. Maybe if you wanted to take a day off when we are there we could fill in for you. We've been trying to get in to do a show down there but to no avail. But now that we have friends down there, this could be our big break. Maybe you could introduce us to someone who could help us do this. It would really be helpful. Anyway, we are excited for you all. Oh and your pictures look nice too. That's probably our problem, we don't take good pictures. Oh, well, it's not about us anyway.

What an opportunity for you. I'll be praying. My parents go to Branson every so often, I'll have to mention it to them. Once the word gets out, I'm sure you'll be a big hit down there.
