Kid's Conference 2008

With rejoicing and praises we drove home from Lincoln on Saturday night. It had been a huge couple weeks in preparations for our annual Nebraska Christian Home Education Association's Kid's Conference. As Josiah was the Program Director this year and each of we older eight had various roles of responsibility ranging from drama to team leaders.

A huge thank you to many of you for your prayers. I hope to post an update soon sharing pictures and specific answers to prayer. But for now -- Ruth has put together another one of her beautiful slide shows to recap the weekend.

"All Your works shall praise You, O LORD,
And Your saints shall bless You.
They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom,
And talk of Your power,
To make known to the sons of men
His mighty acts,
And the glorious majesty of His kingdom."
Psalm 145:11-13

Oh wow!! That looks like that was so much fun! You should reenact some of the dramas for us at camp, they look quite amusing (especially the one with the chef :). Was Kori with you guys or was that just my imagination? I'll be watching for more...

61 days until camp!!! :D

Dustynne --
The second song is sung by Steve Green on his album, "People Need the Lord."

And yes, Kori -- we chose that cover photo with careful consideration! *wink*

Love you -- and miss you -- bunches!!!!

Can't wait to see the promised pictures!;) For some reason, the slideshow doesn't come up on our computer:( I was going to show it to my siblings that weren't able to go, but I'm glad some of us got to see it there anyway!
A HUGE "thank you!" to you all for the many hours and hard work you put into this to make the weekend possible! What fun! It was exciting to see the Lord's faithfulness through it all!

How perfectly lovely! We only wish that we could have been there to see it all in person! Did your family make all of the costumes?
