With my apologies for neglecting this blog as of late, it's been a very full season for our family. After spending a week at grandparents' for Thanksgiving, we turned right around and headed out for a several-day retreat with the nine employees who work for Dad's sandblasting company. It was a good week -- full of fellowship, Christmas lights, music, and Bible studies.
But after scurring from one trip to the next, we're glad to be home now until Christmas Day. We are spending most of this week preparing for the wonderful opportunities of the season -- caroling, hospitality, baking, decorating, gift giving, and card mailing. Hopefully we'll capture a few pictures to share!
Thank you for your patience......and stay tuned!
"Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God."
Psalm 90:1-2

I've done that before! Many a late night I have been up doing laundry. Not any more, though- my younger siblings have that job now.
That was a very cute shot!
Hope you all get caught up on rest and relaxation so you can enjoy the Christmas season to its fullest!
Wow Bethany. That must be a 24/7 job. You look exhausted. I hope you had sweet dreams despite your predicament... "for so He giveth His beloved sleep."
I'm sure it was a comfy, and cozy little spot to take a nap. :) It's especially really hard to stay awake when you rest against the dryer waiting for a load to finish...were it's so warm! May God grant you all sweet rest as you prepare for this blessed time of year. Love and hugs!
Got to sleep some time right? :)
Have a wonderful time preparing for Christmas.
Well you have to have a nap sometimes right:)? I hope you guys get all your Christmas work done soon. God bless.
She must have been really tired because that sure doesn't look like a very comfortable position!

AW, poor, poor, Bethany!!! :D
(((hugs))) to her, the dear laundry lady! ;)

Bethany, we think that maybe the stress of playing a certain someone in tennis is beginning to take it's tool. That is just someone's opinion. I think it's the playing of games on your vacation late into the night that has you all worn out. Or maybe it's the random acts of kindness that my brother has been bestowing on you.
