Old Threshers

It seems hardly possible this was our seventh year singing at the Old Thresher's Reunion!! It has truely become a 'reunion' for us as we are able to touch base with many people we see only once every year. The weather was perfect this year with record crowds pouring into town and enjoying the many family-friendly events. We're grateful for the opporutunities the Lord brought to share through each of the eight concerts we were scheduled over the weekend.

As a picture is said to be worth a thousand words, I'll let Bethany's photography give you a glimpse of the week...

Singing --

We had the special treat of Josiah joining us for the weekend!

"Oh, clap your hands,

all you peoples!
Shout to God
with a voice of triumph!
For the Lord Most High
is awesome;
He is a great King
over all the earth.
Sing praises to God,
Sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth."
Psalm 47:1-2,6-7

We pray that the seeds of God's Word will continue to grow in the hearts of all who heard!

Grandparents --

Smiles...

...and hugs...

...and more smiles!

Family Times --
Sister joys!
"Thank you, God, for family!"

One of those 'sit-in-the-bus-and-chat' moments.

"God has a purpose for each one of us, a work for each one to do, a place for each one to fill, and influence for each one to exert, a likeness to His dear Son for each one to manifest -- and then, a place for each one to fill in His holy temple." --Arthur Hall

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

We missed your performance this year since we arrived at the O.T. too late on Friday (my husband had to work that morning). Our 8-year-old was especially disappointed. Oh well, maybe next year. :-) Anyway, it was good to see your pictures! Also, while roaming around the grounds, we did see Josiah and some of the rest of your family, so that was almost as good as hearing you sing... well, almost. ;-)
