As Time Passes

Well, a few of the projects we've tackled this week are close to completion. Check here for the story of the younger girls' room makeover. We've also re-done the other girls' room, but as it's still 'under construction' as I type, the pictures will have to wait until a later date. [smile]

School was also in full swing this week, with a few new curriculum books this year and each morning devoted to our traditional 'school opening'. How refreshing it is to have a consistent routine; getting a good head-start on each subject!

And just now the bus just pulled up to load for a weekend in central Iowa. Our hearts are truly filled with gratitude for the opportunity to gather from a busy week and focus on the goodness of our God. Aren't you glad He gives us one day in seven -- set aside to worship Him, rest, and re-focus?

God is so good.

"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might.
Nor let the rich man glory in the his riches;
But let him who glories glory in this --
That he understands and knows Me."
Jeremiah 9:23-24

You all have been so busy! Though it would be unlike you not to dive into something
wholeheartedly! :) Can't wait to see that other room...would you please not let our
curiousity get the best of us?! God's blessings on your weekend. And thank you for the
wonderful reminder in the verse you posted!

We love you,

The bedroom is breathtaking - what a lovely room to come to! I love the curtains and wall color, and the bed is beautiful! Out of curiousity, how does one get up to the top bunk? :)

I also wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your family's willingness to serve the Lord. I listen to your CDs often, and each time I get encouraged and blessed. You are a beautiful family - the Lord is using you! May God continue to richly bless you and your ministry!

In Christ,
Tori

What a lovely job you've done on your remodel jobs around your house!! Hope you are all enjoying the break from mobile-travel to stay-at-home! Nice to be back in familiar territory?

By the way- have you ever seen a triple bunk bed?? Our boys built three for their room, in hopes of having traveling groups, such as yourselves, stay with us from time to time. Hint,Hint!! :)
