Our Focus

"When you have no helpers, see your helpers in God. When you have many helpers, see God in all your helpers. When you have nothing but God, see all in God. When you have everything, see God in everything.
Under all conditions,
stay thy heart only on the Lord."
--Charles Spurgeon

This past Sunday we shared our first services without Josiah. 'Stre-e-tching' to say the least! But as we have experienced so many times before, -- when we are feeling totally inadequate and have no option but to cry out to the Lord, His strength is sufficient. And often exceedingly so.

Although the music had a few 'rough' spots that still need attention and more practice (yes, Josiah -- it takes about 3-4 of us pitching in to fill your parts!), we are so grateful that the Spirit of the Lord is not limited by our weaknesses!

After all (as we often have to remind ourselves), while music is a huge part of what we do, the most important thing is having our hearts --under all conditions -- 'stayed on the Lord'!

"I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5

Good quotes; very fitting. We often fail to realize that we can't do anything without Him and that everything depends on his blessing.

Inspirational quote! What a blessing to read. Keep persevering...the Lord will see you through! It is a joy to see you pull together and fill the 'huge gap'! Keep your heart stayed on the LORD, and go forth in the power of His might!
