Set-backs

Well, just thought I'd post a quick update here. The guys finished piecing the bus back together around 9:00 this morning and brought it home for loading. After a final check through the house -- and our traditional version of 'roll call' [smile] -- we were about to pull out when an oil leak was discovered, along with some blue smoke (not a good thing).

So, back to the drawing board....er....mechanic shop. We'll post more as we find out specific details. Thank you in advance for your prayers!

Our heroic 'grease monkeys'. 25+ hours
and still going...

"Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed;
with us is the Lord our God,
to help us, and to fight our battles.
2 Chron. 22:7,8

Bless their big hearts! 25+ hours of working! Wow, I know they must be tired! I hope they fix everything soon so you can get out on the road, and they can sleep! I'll be prayin'!

Maybe if you came to North Dakota instead of going to California you wouldn't be having troubles!
;-) :D I'll be praying that everything works soon! Oh, we have been able to sell puppies, only have four left, and someone is coming to look at them as we speak!! YEAH!! Yippi-ki-yi-a!!!! Is that how one spells that? :) Anyway, I gotta go and write some more on my paper! Adios!

Here are 2 verses that I read from Isaiah 26 this morning: "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength."
You can always trust God! We will be praying for all of you as you trust Him in the middle of this "detour"

I will pray that you are able to get the problems on your bus fixed so that you can get out on the road. I know what it is like when you think that you have everything taken care of then something else comes up. God bless

Wow, it would be so easy to get frustrated after working on it that long and then find something else wrong, but who knows why God’s saying, “just wait, you need to stay home a little longer” Who knows what was out there on the road you would have been on today? God does.

oh my word! You poor, poor people! That's gotta get rather frustrating after awhile. I pray God continues to grant wisdom... and grace ;). And your poor mechanics... Do they charge overtime?? :D

God bless you guys!

Oh dear! It was probably frustrating to be ready to leave and then discover another problem.
I sincerely hope everything gets fixed quickly so you can head out!

Not the news I expected to find when I came here. Wow. I'm just glad you found this problem right next to your front door, not several hundred miles away. God is good and only knows how to give good things. Will be praying.
