Our Bike Rider

Today has been a day of exciting 'firsts' for Nathanael. This evening Stephen started teaching him to ride a bike without training wheels! This was a thrilling occasion -- perfect weather, tiny 'learning' bike, and a good teacher.

And then came another 'first'. First bike wreck! Yep, he hit the ground and is a little banged up tonight. He says he wants to try again tomorrow, but has decided to go back to using the 'helper wheels' for awhile!

Oh my! Poor little guy! That smile and those eyes are sure to melt my heart! ;) I'm praying he feels better real soon and can soon be an avid biker... without "helper wheels".

Poor boy! Hope he continues to get better! That looks like he had a nasty fall. Bikes are fun but sure can be scary sometimes.

Great work Nathaneal! With your spirit of perserverance, you will get very far - not only down the bike trail, but in life! :)
