Westward Ho!

"God be merciful to us and bless us,
and cause His face to shine upon us,
That Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations."
Psalms 67:1-2

And it is time to pack up and hit the road again. This morning has been one full of preparation -- food, clothes, packing and all those details that must be done before heading out. We are excited about this trip. In addition to several new places, many stops are to 'return areas' where we're looking forward to fellowship and time together with friends. It will be a full schedule -- but we pray the Lord will use us each day to be a blessing to whomever we're around.

Thank you all again for your prayers. Specific requests for this trip would be -- our personal quiet times, ministry at each stop along the way, travel mercies, rest and health (for Mom especially), and wisdom in balancing school in our daily activities. We also desire to get some new music worked up these next couple weeks, and need direction and creativity in the choosing and arranging of the songs.

God bless you all! Thanks for your notes -- we do receive messages and e-mails on the road every couple days and it is a joy to hear from you -- our 'blog readers'! We'll do our best to keep you updated!

You will definately be in our thoughts, and prayers!! We will MISS you, but know that you will have a blessed time away, as well! As too the music, I am sure you will come up with those beautiful, thouching arrangements! We will be praying for God's wisdom in that area as well, and look forward to hearing them 'live and in person' in the near future!

Thank y'all again for this blog. Knowing that we can be in touch 'across the miles' is a blessing!!:)

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jer.29:11

Love and hugs your direction!!

Guess who?!

“Westward Hold it!”

I can’t seem to keep up anymore. I’m still working on the email I got from you last week. Didn’t do anything special, just can’t get that into words. We definitely will be praying for all of you, always do, especially that school thing. We know how effective our “flash” tutoring is. Spent one afternoon touring a historic residence with you all and the next thing you know Andrew is graduating, completes his own photo shoot, and still plays a great banjo. We can only imagine how our “flash” tutoring could work for others.

Praying for all of you and hoping this is long enough so Rachel will read it.

You’re unidentified friend.

Dear semi-unidentified friend --

Yes, you'll have to come and tutor the rest of us sometime!

God bless -- and thanks to all for the comments! [smile]
