The Covenant House

After a fairly busy and full month of travels, our family had the unexpected surprise of having a couple 'free' days in northern Florida last week. We were so grateful for the time to be refreshed as a family -- and also sharing in the ministry of the Covenant House. The Covenant House is a home for men struggling with addictions and needing spiritual, mental, and emotional help. With a radiant love for the Lord and His Word, two couples run the complex of houses and turn this group of men into a warm family. What an encouragement it was to fellowship with them and hear how the Lord provides -- literally daily -- for their needs.

The 'bank house', where most of the men stay.

We like to take every opportunity to get out for a little exercise.

Greeetings!

How special that God gave you that needed family time to be refreshed before heading home. Isn't God good?! He always knows exactly what we need when we need it! Rarely early, but never late! How many times I've been in awe of His 'perfect timing'!:)
