Now only two Christmas services are left for our family in 2005 -- the month has flown all too quickly! Every year we look forward to pulling out the familiar carols and selecting a few new ones to share during the month of December. And this year has been no exception. The message of Christ’s birth -- and ultimately the purpose of His coming -- are such a powerful reminder to me of my daily need for His life, His joy, His love.
Have you ever noticed the incredible meaning behind many of our familiar hymns? Take this verse of “Joy to the World” for instance:
No more let sin and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground.
He comes to make His blessings known
Far as the curse is found.
His advent was to free us from the curse of sin -- and that is the greatest gift ever!

And now after many hours of drawing, planning, praying, and re-drawing....... the work has begun! Our bus is currently an empty shell, but while we are spending Christmas with our grandparents, two wonderful friends (yes you, Fred and Dave!) are getting a jump start on the project. Stay tuned for further developments!
